Fave Finds...

A few of my favorite things to come into the garden center this week.

1. Flower wall art in soft muted turquoise and brown
2. Aqua Decorative bird cages.
3.Our terracotta garden stools that Mum and Dad found on their China buying trip. They make a useful item to have in the house or garden.
Also available in black and red.

Eclectic Style with my fave finds.

An eclectic Visual merchandising display with new home ware finds.

Two of my favourite finds on our buying trip were the teak timber deer wall hangings and cow hide stools. I had purchased them for my own home, but I was so excited to show them off I displayed them in our lifestyle pavilion today. The teak carved bench was also an overseas find.

Zen Zone V's kitsch

Have you seen our GIANT water lettuce?
They are AMAZING.
They look great floating in earthy
 or glazed water bowls.
It's so easy to grow them just drop them in the water
 and they will multiply
by growing little pups on the side.
( our zenned out Buddha's are cool too)

Have fun
 in your garden
with our kitsch pink flamingos
 and giant flower wall hangings.

Yucca Flowers & Gargoyles

I am in awe
 of the wonderful yucca flowers
that I have seen popping up
 all over town this Autumn.
I discovered these ones today while wandering
 around the garden centre.
 Our hand-made
 lantern is spot on
 next to the
 giant
 architectural
yucca
 plant.

I pieced together this little display
 for the garden centre today.
I've used Dad's hand-made
 old finish gargoyles.
A suar stool made from teak,
 stone steppers
 &
striking canna plants for a rustic/gothic look.

Today in the nursery

As I look around the nursery today I am delighted by the intense tropical colours I see. Hibiscus, Mandevillas and fragrant frangapanis present them selves in all their beauty. Pop in today ans see for yourself.

Modern Ethnic-Shop Display Today

I was in my element setting up this display for our advertising campaign for Adelaide Hills Magazine- Spring Addition. Colour is making a come back.

A mix of rustic handmade urns that we have imported sit well against our charcoal wall. Over-sized bird cages, metal peacocks, mirrors and wall art add to the maximalism effect that we are know for.

Lucky Bamboo

Add some Zen to your living area with Lucky Bamboo. Lucky bamboo is not actually a bamboo, it's from the dracaena family( a plant found in the tropics). Lucky bamboo is s easy to care for making in a popular indoor plant. They are available potted in soil or bare rooted in water. Lucky Bamboo will grow in a vase of water too.
The curly ones are created by putting straight bamboo into low light tunnels, rotating them, and letting the in light.
Choose a spot out of direct sunlight. A well lit bathroom or kitchen is ideal.
